San Francisco Bar:Settling Or Not Settling Antitrust Cases

The San Francisco Bar Association has scheduled a lunchtime seminar titled Settling, or Not Settling, Antitrust Cases on Tuesday, May 18, at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street in San Francisco.

It will run from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Judith Zahid of Zelle, Hoffmann, Voelbel & Mason LLP will moderate this discussion, which will cover the following topics: the critical considerations in deciding whether to settle an antitrust case; the right time to settle a case; how you position a case for settlement; what works and what doesn't work in mediation; tools that can be used to apportion the settlement in a multi-defendant case; and the settlement alternatives to cash.
