San Francisco Bar To Discuss2008 Arbitration Cases

The San Francisco Bar Association will offer a lunchtime seminar on Thursday, January 22, titled Significant Arbitration Cases in 2008.

The lunch and program will run from noon to 1:15 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street, San Francisco.

Topics to be covered are the popular annual review of significant federal and California cases involving arbitration; comparing and contrasting Hall investment vs. Mattel and Cable Connection vs. Direct TV, as well as other cases on arbitrability and arbitrator disclosure.

The scheduled speaker, James R. Madison, is an arbitrator, mediator, special master, and discovery referee.
