San Francisco Bar To Cover Best Practices In Employment Litigation

The Bar Association of San Francisco has scheduled a CLE event titled Employment Litigation: Best Practices.

It will be held Thursday, September 2, from noon to 2 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street in San Francisco.

Scott Graham, editor in chief of The Recorder, will moderate a discussion covering employment law litigation. Employment law cases are among the most robustly litigated disputes. The state and federal laws that cover several distinct disciplines from wage and hour to discrimination, sexual harassment and intellectual property can be complex and confusing, and incendiary allegations are routine. Such challenges require careful handling by lawyers, parties and neutrals. In this program an experienced panel will share best practices and insights into litigating these cases.

Panelists include Cliff M. Palefsky,McGuinn, Hillsman & Palefsky; Heather M. Sager, Drinker, Biddle & Reath LLP; Douglas E. Dexter and Jeffrey M. Fisher, Farella, Braun and Martel, LLP; and Koorosh Afshari, ADR STRATEGIES GROUP.
