The San Francisco Bar Association is exploring Federal ESI Issues in an online video replay scheduled for Tuesday, September 28. Viewers can watch from their own computers and choose from the following program times: 9:00a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Participants will learn what every attorney needs to know about e-Discovery. Speakers Jason Yurasek, Perkins Coie LLP, Erin Smart, Bingham McCutchen LLP and Carrie Mallen, eDiscovery Response Team LLC, will explain the process, including the preservation of documents, collecting and gathering data, reviewing documents and document review tools. They will explore the following topics: What is ESI and what is e-Discovery? Why is it important and who is involved? What are search terms, custodian lists and e-Discovery rules? How do you avoid the pitfalls?
