On Thursday, July 8, the San Francisco Bar Association has scheduled a brown bag luncheon titled Hot Topics and Developments in Intellectual Property Law.

It will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street in San Francisco.

The latest developments in patent damages, including reasonable royalty, apportionment and application of entire market value, will be discussed, as will venue trends in patent litigation, closing the courtroom door to inequitable conduct at the pleading stage, and patentability of method claims under In re Bilski and the impending Supreme Court decision.

The speakers, John Cooper, Eugene Mar and Jane Thamkul, are all with Farella Braun & Martel LLP.
