• Tuesday, October 16, Meet Your Counterpart: Corporate Diversity Initiatives - National Best Practices and San Diego's Unique Local Cultural and Economic Issues. From 5 to 7 p.m. at the San Diego County Bar Association offices, San Diego;
• Thursday, October 18, Monthly MCLE, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the offices of DLA Piper, 401 B Street, San Diego;
• Tuesday, October 23, Paralegal Institute, from noon to 7:30 p.m. at QUALCOMM, 6455 Lusk Boulevard, San Diego, with speakers Micah Kasden, ALC Legal Technologies; Randy Clark and Dan Howard, Sempra Energy; Jane Hopper, USD instructor, and William Sailer, senior vice president and legal counsel, QUALCOMM.
