San Diego ACCA Offering Variety Of CLE Programs

The San Diego Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America is planning a potpourri of CLE activities covering issues of interest to chapter members.

The September calendar includes:

• Thursday, September 13, Monthly MCLE: After the Acquisition: The Hard Work Integrating an Acquired Company, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Marriott Del Mar, 11966 El Camino Real, San Diego, with speakers John Hankins and Peter Townshend, McDermott Will & Emery, and Brian Griffith, Invitrogen;

• Thursday, September 20, Meet the U.S. Attorney and the District Attorney, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the University Club, 750 B Street, San Diego, with speakers Karen Hewitt, U.S. attorney for the Southern District of California and Bonnie Dumanis, district attorney for San Diego;

• Wednesday, September 26, Meet Your Counterpart: Corporate Diversity Initiatives: National Best Practices and San Diego's Unique Local Cultural and Economic Issues, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the offices of Carlton DiSante & Freudenberger LLP, 4510 Executive Drive, San Diego;

• Thursday, September 27, Mini MBA Program, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Rady School of Management, University of California at San Diego, San Diego, with speakers Frank Partnoy, professor, University of San Diego Law School, and Uri Gneezy, On Amir and Ross Valkanov, all of the Rady School of Management.
