The San Diego ACC chapter will host a day-long MCLE event for general counsel on Friday, January 22. Titled Annual GC Roundtable and All-Day MCLE, the event will begin at 7:30 a.m. and adjourn at 6:30 p.m. at the San Diego Yacht Club, 1011 Anchorage Lane.
The day will begin with Thomas Jensen, MD, discussing substance abuse. Two tracks will follow from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. - Federal Enforcement Actions against Gatekeepers: Recent Trends in DOJ & SEC Actions against In-House Counsel with Tyson Marshall of Morrison & Foerster LLP and a presentation by Thomson Reuters, topic to be determined.
The second morning track includes a California Wage & Hour Update with Lloyd Aubry and Rick Bergstrom of Morrison & Foerster LLP and a presentation by LexisNexis (topic TBD). A lunch program by Thomson Reuters, Elimination of Bias in the Legal Profession," will be followed by two program tracks in the afternoon. A GC Roundtable on Ethics will complete the program with Scott Stanton, partner with Morrison & Foerster LLP and Philip Rudolph, senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Jack in the Box speaking.
