This professional development program - Looking for a Job: Basics - will run from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. at the La Jolla Country Club, 7301 High Avenue in La Jolla.
Deborah Ben-Canaan from Major, Lindsey & Africa, which specializes in the recruitment and placement of legal personnel, will offer this advice for those who do not have a job and for those who have a job but are looking for something else, including pointers on updating a resume, researching potential employers, interviewing, and working with a recruiter.
