Rules Of Evidence Seminar Hosted At PBI

The law of evidence is analytically integrated with the law of trial advocacy and as a result, the basis of the respective evidentiary rules and principles provides key elements of persuasion. Trial lawyers who articulate these principles in their presentations are more persuasive and effective.

The Pennsylvania Bar Institute will present the seminar Ohlbaum on Evidence-Advocacy: Using the Rules of Evidence to Persuade on Thursday, August 28, at The CLE Conference Center, Wanamaker Building, Suite 1010, Philadelphia.

Edward D. Ohlbaum will lead participants in an in-depth discussion and dissection of the ways in which evidence and advocacy interface, as well as how to take advantage of the Rules of Evidence to become a more persuasive courtroom advocate. Mr. Ohlbaum serves as Professor of Law and Director of Trial Advocacy and Clinical Legal Education at Temple University School of Law.

Attendees of this course will receive a complimentary copy of Professor Ohlbaum's comprehensive evidence book, Ohlbaum on the Pennsylvania Rules of Evidence.
