Remedies For Problem Employees Presented In PBI Program

Problem employees can be very costly to businesses. On three dates in February, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute will host a seminar titled Dealing with the Problem Employee designed to address the legal issues of this important topic.

On Wednesday, February 11, PBI will offer this program at the PBI Conference Center, 5080 Ritter Road, Mechanicsburg. The PBI Professional Development Center, Heinz 57 Center, 339 Sixth Avenue, in Pittsburgh, will host the seminar on Thursday, February 19. On Thursday, February 26, PBI will present the program in their Philadelphia offices at The CLE Conference Center, Wanamaker Building, Suite 1010. Each program will begin at noon and conclude at 4:15 p.m.

Sally Griffith Cimini, Babst, Calland, Clements & Zomnir, P.C. and Schaun D. Henry, McNees Wallace & Nurick, LLC, will lead attendees through such vital topics as pre-employment - avoiding problem employees - establishing requirements of the job, typical problems during employment, investigation and disciplinary action short of termination and the termination process itself.
