Reid v. Google And How It Will Affect You

On Wednesday, November 17, the Bar Association of San Francisco will present a lunchtime seminar called How Reid v. Google Will Affect You.

The lunch and program will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street in San Francisco.

Speakers Marvin Dunson III of Valdez Dunson & Doyle LLP and Don Willenburg of Gordon Rees LLP will explain how the Reid v. Google decision will affect your summary judgment, employment discrimination, and appellate practices. The following topics will be discussed: how much Reid actually changes employment discrimination laws in California; how Reid affects discovery and summary judgment practice in employment cases; how Reid has changed appellate review of evidentiary questions on summary judgment and what that means for summary judgment practice; and how Reid rejects Biljac but does not strike a stake through Biljac's heart.
