Recent Developments In Securities Filings

PLI has scheduled a seminar to explain the principal forms used for securities filings with the SEC and cover recent developments in disclosure obligations and recently adopted SEC proposals at its San Francisco location. Securities Filings 2009 will be held at the PLI California Center, 685 Market Street on Thursday and Friday, November 12 and 13, from 9 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Networking breaks are included in the schedule.

Designed for attorneys with little to moderate experience in securities filings, in-house counsel, and those interested in a review and update and for other professionals who need to reacquaint themselves with the forms and reports used, the program will cover annual reports to stockholders, forms 10-K, 10-Q, and S-1, proxy statements and executive compensation disclosure, ethics in SEC practice, issuance of securities in acquisitions, and drafting issues encountered in filings.
