Raising Capital Without Violating Securities Laws Explained

On Thursday, October 21, the Business Law Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco will present Raising Capital without Violating the CA Securities Laws.

The lunch and program will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street in San Francisco.

Program speaker Keith Paul Bishop, partner, Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Nastis LLP, adjunct professor at the Chapman School of Law and former California Commissioner of Corporations, will explore the following topics: common (and not so common) exemptions; using (and abusing) the Internet; finders and broker-dealer issues; and investor qualification.
