The University of Texas School of Law is offering a CLE seminar titled Remedies in Commercial, Investment, and Energy Arbitrations.
The program will take place on Thursday and Friday, April 17 and 18 at the St. Regis Hotel, Houston. Sessions will run from 8:50 a.m. to 5:40 p.m. on day one and from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on day two.
The program will cover topics such as: Remedies: Principles and Practices in International Arbitration; Expropriation Damages and Methodologies, Fair Market Value and Discrete Damage Problems; Declaratory Relief and Injunctions; Interest, Currency and Tax Issues; Enforcement Options Against Sovereigns, and International Energy Disputes: Past, Present and Future.
Among the speakers are Guillermo Aguilar-Alverez, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP; R. Doak Bishop, John P. Bowman and Craig S. Miles, King & Spalding LLP; Theodore M. Frois, Exxon Mobil Corporation, and Stewart C. Myers, MIT Sloan School of Management.
