Program Will Examine WorkingsOf Los Angeles Superior Court

The Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) will present a session titled Los Angeles Superior Court Program.

The seminar will take place on Saturday, August 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Los Angeles Superior Court, 111 North Hill Street, Los Angeles. Registration starts at 8 a.m.

This program, presented by judges and prominent trial attorneys, offers a general overview of the Los Angeles Superior Court. The presenters share valuable ideas for successful pretrial and trial techniques and discuss common pitfalls to avoid in the courtroom. Among the topics being covered are: court administration issues, alternative dispute resolution, opening statements, voir dire, cross-examination, and final arguments.

Speakers will be Julie Brosnan, Los Angeles Superior Court; John B. Collins, Collins, Collins, Muir & Stewart LLP, and the Hon. Emilie H. Elias, the Hon. Jane L. Johnson and the Hon. Aurelio Munoz, all Los Angeles Superior Court.
