The Pro Bono Partnership has scheduled its 10th Anniversary Dinner at which it will honor the recipients of its First Decade Awards.
The event will take place on Thursday, March 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the offices of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, Four Times Square, 38th Floor, New York City.
The featured speaker for the evening will be Ben W. Heineman Jr., Program on the Legal Profession, Harvard Law School, who will discuss Pro Bono as a Pillar of Professional Development: Inside and Outside.
The First Decade Award recipients include: Extraordinary Service Awards, General Electric Corporation, Brackett B. Denniston III, senior vice president and general counsel, and Topni Anne Nichels, employment and HR counsel, Xerox Corporation; Distinguished Service Awards, Honeywell International, Inc., Peter M. Kreindler, senior vice president and general counsel; Prudential Financial, Susan L. Blount, senior vice president and general counsel; Schering-Plough Corporation; Leonard D. Andrew, retired associate general counsel, IBM Corporation; Lee Braem, senior corporate counsel and deputy compliance officer, Evonik Degussa Corporation; Susan Corcoran, Jackson Lewis LLP, and Anahaita Kotval, managing director and general counsel, RBS Greenwich Capital.
