The DC Bar Association will present a transactional drafting course designed to help business lawyers solve day-to-day drafting problems and avoid common errors and ambiguities. The program, titled Effective Drafting for the Business Lawyer, will be held on Thursday, July 17, at the DC Bar Conference Center, 1250 H Street, NW, Washington, DC, beginning at 9 a.m. and concluding at 12:45 p.m.
Ross Guberman is the founder and president of Legal Writing Pro, an advanced legal-writing training and consulting firm. He will lead participants in this practical workshop providing information applicable to all business lawyers seeking improvement in style and structure, understanding frequently litigated terms and phrases and resolving common word usage problems.
