PLI To Explore Litigation Of Complex Cases

On Tuesday, November 10, the Practising Law Institute and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute will offer a seminar titled "Bet the Company" Litigation 2009: Best Practices for Complex Cases.

The live groupcast will be broadcast at the PBI CLE Conference Center in the Wanamaker Building, Suite 1010 in Center City Philadelphia from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Participants will examine the legal issues involved in complex litigation in securities law, intellectual property, antitrust and other substantive areas of law, and they will garner important information about how to manage complex litigation so that the process itself does not overwhelm their client and companies.

Panelists will include both defense and plaintiff's counsel experienced in multi-jurisdictional litigations, regulatory attorneys, and in-house counsel.

The faculty includes M. Alexander Bowie II, partner, Day Pitney LLP; Richard W. Clary, head of litigation, Cravath, Swain & Moore LLP; Lawrence N. Chanen, senior vice president and associate general counsel, JP Morgan Chase & Co.; Me Lin Kwan-Gett, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP; and Michael J. Malone, King & Spalding LLP.
