The Practising Law Institute is planning a CLE seminar titled Resolving Technology and Media Disputes Before Trial.
The program will take place on Friday, September 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the PLI Conference Center, 810 7th Avenue, New York City.
Attendees will learn current best practices for arbitration of technology or media disputes, including agreements to arbitrate with provisions for discovery and other rules of the road. This program will cover both court-sponsored and private arbitration as well as guidelines for preparing arbitration briefs. Attendees will gain an understanding of options for mediation, use of non-judicial forums to help resolve cases and effective settlements, and how the new PTO procedures can help to resolve or narrow disputes.
