PLI Schedules Two-Day Seminar On Trademark Practice Before PTO

The Practising Law Institute (PLI) is planning a CLE seminar titled Navigating Trademark Practice Before the PTO 2008.

The program will take place on Thursday and Friday, February 21 and 22, at the PLI Conference Center, 810 7th Avenue, New York City. Sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on day one and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on day two.

Attendees will receive a review of important recent TTAB decisions, an update on implementation of new TTAB rules, as well as PTO and TTAB structure, jurisdiction and powers. Practical tips for trademark searching, clearance, and options and grounds for refusal of registration will also be covered. Administrative trademark judges will provide live oral argument in a pending TTAB case.
