PLI has scheduled a two-day seminar titled Advanced Patent Prosecution Workshop 2008: Claim Drafting & Amendment Writing for Monday and Tuesday, August 11 and 12 at the PLI Center in San Francisco.
The seminar will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both days.
Topics for discussion include ethics for patent prosecutors; current state law regarding the on-sale bar; advanced claim drafting issues with a focus on language and techniques to avoid; recent patent law developments; claim drafting workshops with separate groups for biology/chemistry, computers, and the mechanical arts; duty of disclosure; post final practice; and affidavit practice.
