PLI Program Focus: Coupling Law With Business Skills

The Pocket MBA for Lawyers: Everything You Need to Know About Finance 2009 has been scheduled for Thursday and Friday, January 29 and 30, at the PLI New York Center, 810 Seventh Avenue, New York City. The program will commence at 9 a.m. and adjourn at 5 p.m. on both days.

Program co-chairs Joseph A. Augustine, MBA, co-founder, Gnosis Advisors LLC and Donna M. Hitscherich, Esq., senior lecturer in Discipline Finance and Economics, Gnosis Advisors LLC will lead a faculty of experts to explain how the core disciplines of accounting, corporate finance, financial statement analysis and valuation heavily influence today's business decisions. Mastering skills in these four key areas is of critical importance for all attorneys - regardless of practice area. Attendees will become comfortable with basic accounting, corporate finance, financial analysis and valuation principles.
