PLI Presents Understanding Securities Laws

The Practising Law Institute will offer a two-day comprehensive program focused on the topical issues in securities law on Thursday and Friday, September 10 and 11, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. both days.

The location of the seminars will be the PLI's New York Center, 810 Seventh Avenue at 53rd Street.

In today's current financial environment it is critical for all attorneys to pay attention to developments in securities law.Participants will gain an essential understanding of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and related SEC regulations as well as up-to-the-minute basic underpinnings and interplay of the Securities Act of 1933 and the Security Exchange Act of 1934.The emphasis of the program will be both on the substance of these acts and their rules, which will enable participants to better solve practical problems arising in this field.
