PLI Event Focuses On Outsourcing And Offshoring

The Practising Law Institute is sponsoring a two-day seminar in September about issues arising from the practice of outsourcing. Titled Outsourcing and Offshoring 2009: Meeting the New Challenges, the program begins Monday, September 21, at 9 a.m. and adjourns at 5 p.m., and on Tuesday, September 22, it runs from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the University of Chicago's Gleacher Center, 450 N. Cityfront Plaza Drive, Chicago.

Outsourcing and offshoring have become essential survival skills for businesses in these challenging times.As these fields have matured, the deals have become more complex, and the legal documents involved are essential and can lose or create a great deal of value for clients. The seminar will provide the latest ideas on how these deals are structured, negotiated and governed.

Attorneys who are involved in outsourcing arrangements and corporate, technology, intellectual property, employment, regulatory, tax, financial and insurance lawyers will find this seminar useful.
