Jones Day will host a morning seminar titled The Wikileaks Phenomenon: Protecting the Confidential Information of Your Company and Its Clients on Thursday, August 11, at Jones Day, 500 Grant Street in Pittsburgh.
It begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 10:00 a.m.
Jones Day's attorneys will discuss some case histories in which the confidential documents of companies or their clients have ended up posted on the Internet at websites promoting the public disclosure of confidential information or in the hands of plaintiffs' lawyers in tort litigation. As this phenomenon evolves, data security takes on even more importance, and companies must have a plan to respond if confidential documents suddenly are made public.
The panelists are Gregg L. Lippetz, Mauricio F. Paez, and Charles "Chuck" Moellenber, Jr. of Jones Day.
