Dentons Lee has recently recruited Peter Seung-hun Lee, former chief judge of Cheongju District Court, to strengthen its expertise in public litigation, international trade litigation/arbitration, as well as civil/criminal and family law.
Peter Seung-hun Lee began his judicial career at Suwon District Court, subsequently serving as a judge at Seoul Administrative Court, Busan High Court, Busan District Court, and the Hongseong Branch of Suwon District Court, before assuming the position of chief judge at Daejeon District Court and Cheongju District Court. Throughout his tenure, he presided over numerous civil, family, administrative, criminal, and warrant trials across various judicial levels. Notably, he led the research team at the Supreme Court's International Trade Law Research Division for three years, overseeing the court's tasks related to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law.
Peter Seung-hun Lee holds a Master of Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne Law School in Australia and Master's and Doctorate degrees in Administrative Law from Korea University.
