Venable LLP is pleased to announce that Peter Koclanes has joined the firm’s Denver office as a partner in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Koclanes is a nationally recognized and highly regarded trial lawyer whom clients trust with their most important business disputes. He has more than 35 years of experience litigating securities and class actions; patents and other intellectual property; corporate governance and business tort claims; and disputes involving energy, oil and gas, trusts and estates, and real estate. He conducts internal investigations for corporate clients and works with special litigation committees of corporate boards of directors, limited liability company managers, partnerships, and other business entities. He appears in matters pending in federal and state courts in Colorado, New York, and throughout the United States.

Mr. Koclanes received his J.D. from the George Washington University and his B.S. from the Colorado School of Mines.
