Dentons announces today that Penny Groel has rejoined the Firm’s Capital Markets practice as a partner, resident in its Los Angeles office. Groel previously practiced at Dentons and its predecessor firm for more than 25 years before departing for an in-house role.
Groel’s practice encompasses agency and trust, structured finance, corporate and securities law, with a focus on CLO transactions, whole business transactions, esoteric financings, asset and mortgage-backed securitizations, project financings and corporate debt issuances. She has represented trustees, securities administrators, underwriters, issuers and institutional investors in such transactions. Her experience also includes solar and other energy project finance transactions, traditional term and revolving credit loan transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and leveraged leasing transactions.
