Pennsylvania Seminar Focuses On Employment Law

On Tuesday, July 13, Sterling Education is sponsoring an Employment Law Update for 2010. The seminar will be held at the Marriott at Penn Square located at 25 South Queen St., Lancaster, PA, and it will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m.

Employment issues are constantly changing, and businesses need to be equipped with the latest information and resources to facilitate better decisions and reduce the risk of costly employment-related litigation.

The seminar will examine the shift from paper-based record keeping to electronic storage of information. Participants will learn how Human Resources information systems are triggering a surge of issues relating to privacy and data protection. Other topics will cover the most current developments in immigration law, ADA and FMLA, the paperless workplace and negotiating separation agreements.
