Pennsylvania Bar Looks At The Psychology And Technology Of Commercial Litigation

On Wednesday, February 17, join the PBI as they hold an intriguing program examining the psychology and technology issues involved in commercial litigation.

The program will be held at the PBI Professional Development Conference Center, 339 Sixth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA. It runs from noon until 4:15 p.m.

Attendees will gain insights into how lawyers can more effectively captivate the judge and jury in a commercial case. Practitioners understand that commercial litigation often involves detailed documents, extensive and complex contracts and technical drawings. Juries find these cases tedious and overwhelming due to the technicality and amounts of information presented.

Attendees will learn tips on how to hold the jurors' attention by simplifying the complex issues and gain insight into the psychology of a juror's perspective at trial.

The faculty includes jury experts, commercial litigators and judges, notably, Ann T. Greeley PhD, senior director, DecisionQuest, State College; Kathy K. Condo, Babst, Calland, Clements & Zomnir, P.C. and Wesley R. Payne, IV, White and Williams LLP.
