PBI To Provide Toolkit Of Information On Cable And Broadband

The Pennsylvania Bar Institute is offering a CLE course designed to teach solicitors and municipal officers how to navigate the laws of cable television and broadband technology.

The program, titled Negotiating/ Understanding Cable Television and Broadband, aims to provide a toolkit of information on cable television franchise renewals, franchise fees and the internet in general as well as public, educational and government channels. The live seminar will take place on Tuesday, June 10 at the CLE Conference Center, Suite 1010, Philadelphia, and on Thursday, June 12 at a location to be announced in Pittsburgh. Both presentations will run from 9 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.

Faculty for this seminar includes: Frederick Polner, Polner Law Office in Allison Park; Michael C. Athay, City of Philadelphia Law Department, and Ralph G. Douglass, PECA, Inc., Bethlehem.
