PBI To Present Environmental Law Forum

The Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI) has scheduled a CLE program titled Environmental Law Forum 2008.

The program will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, April 9 and 10 at the Harrisburg Hilton & Towers, Harrisburg, PA, with sessions running from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on day one and from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on day two.

With modern day worries about climate change, fading fuel supplies, pesticides, and crowding landfills, eco-innovation is a paramount initiative for government, businesses, scientists - and certainly for lawyers. The good news is that amazing developments are occurring in this area - and those developments are the focus of the 2008 Environmental Law Forum. This is the environmental lawyer's one-stop-shop for everything green - updates from the courts and from the industry, current trends, and news of inspiring innovations that will impact legal practice.

Course planners are Jill Hyman Kaplan, Manko Gold Katcher & Fox, LLP; David G. Mandelbaum, Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP; Alan S. Miller, Picadio Sneath Miller & Norton, P.C.; Martin H. Sokolow Jr., southcentral counsel, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, and Maxine L. Woelfling, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.
