PBI To Present A Day On Health Law

Six timely topics from The Pennsylvania Bar Institute's 13th Annual Health Law Institute will be presented in one-hour sessions during A Day On Health Law, Tuesday, October 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.

The program will be given live at the CLE Conference Center in the Wanamaker Building on Juniper Street in Philadelphia and presented live via videoconference to the Koppers Building, 436 Seventh Avenue in Pittsburgh, and to the PBI Conference Center, 5080 Ritter Road in Mechanicsburg.

Session titles include: The False Claims Act Update, The Criminal and Civil Risks to a Provider of Using Non-FDA Approved Drugs and Devices, Top 10 Things Health Lawyers Need to Know about Employment Law in 2007, The Medical Executive Committee, the Medical Staff and the Hospital - Who Is Your Client?, Software Licenses: Ten Things Every Healthcare Practitioner Should Know, and Federal Income Tax Update, Seismic Shifts Affecting Exempt Organizations.
