The Pennsylvania Bar Institute will host a humorous CLE seminar on Friday, December 18. Lawghter is the Best Medicine will run from noon until 4:15 p.m. at the CLE Conference Center in the Wanamaker Building in Central Philadelphia.
Join humorist and attorney Sean Carter for an entertaining seminar designed to lighten up even the most hard-boiled professional practitioner while providing ethics credit hours.
Participants will gain ethics skills in an offbeat manner. Mr. Carter will present his take on his original ten commandments of avoiding ethical problems as a lawyer. Further into the program participants will have an active role by joining the "fantasy Supreme Court" league where they will compete with each other by attempting to remember the outcome and margin of victory in these "fantasy" cases. Prizes will be awarded to the highest scorers of the afternoon.
