One Of The Watergate "Plumbers" To Present Ethics Seminar

The State Bar of Arizona will present a CLE seminar titled Make Sure You Are Operating in the Integrity Zone: A Three-Hour Ethics Program.

This event will be held on Thursday, June 12, from 9 a.m. TO 12:15 p.m. at the Orange Tree Golf Resort in Scottsdale, AZ.

Attendees will learn how you can stay safely inside the Integrity Zone, a safe harbor for lawyers, legal administrators, and others in the legal, business, and government professions. The featured speaker will be a man who has operated outside the zone and served more than four years of jail time for his involvement in an ethics crime: Egil (Bud) Krogh, an attorney who worked for President Nixon and who was one of the "Plumbers" who, in 1971, broke into the office of Daniel Ellsberg's psychiatrist in order to discredit him. Decades after the event, Mr. Krogh has written a book about his experiences and is traveling across the country to talk about his time in the Nixon White House and to teach ethics lessons.
