Oklahoma Bar Association Plans Bankruptcy Seminar

The Oklahoma Bar Association will present its 22nd Annual Advanced Bankruptcy Seminar: A Centennial Year's Retrospective and Prospective View of Bankruptcy.

The program will take place on Thursday and Friday, December 6 and 7 at the Oklahoma Bar Center, Oklahoma City, OK. Sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. each day.

Among the topics to be addressed will be: LLC Bankruptcy Issues and Director & Officer Liability; Recent Developments in Chapter 11; How to Make Your Case With the Best Evidence; The Limits of Bankruptcy Policy & Purposes: Religious Organizations Filings; Ethics Issues in Bankruptcy Cases; Combating Fraud and Abuse: 20 Years With the United States Trustee, and Emerging Issues in Chapter 13: Debtor, Creditor, and Trustee Issues.

Among the speakers are Jack F. Williams, AIRA Scholar in Residence, Georgia State University School of Law; Myron (Mickey) Sheinfeld, King & Spalding LLP, and Lawrence Ponoroff, Tulane University Law School.
