NYSBA Slates Ethics Seminars

The New York State Bar Association this month and next is planning a CLE seminar titled Ethics and Professionalism in three locations in the greater New York City area.

Programs will take place on Friday, November 17 at the Westchester Marriott, 670 White Plains Road, Tarrytown, NY; on Thursday, November 30 at the Hilton Huntington, 598 Broadhollow Road, Melville, NY, and on Thursday, December 7 at New York's Hotel Pennsylvania, 401 Seventh Avenue, New York City. At each site, sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.

The first portion of the program will deal with professionalism issues raised in civil litigation, and will use a video program produced by the State Bar of Georgia and the Georgia Chief Justice's Commission on Professionalism. The second portion of the program will feature a professionally produced series of video vignettes from the University of Pennsylvania Law School's Center on Professionalism, which raise several issues in the area of ethics.

The overall planning chairs are Grace Marie Ange, Ange & Ange, and M. David Tell, an attorney from Wantagh, NY.
