NYSBA Slates Annual Tax Institute

The New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) early next month will present its Eleventh Annual New York State and City Tax Institute.

The program will take place on Thursday, March 1 from 8:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. at The Princeton Club of New York, 15 West 43rd Street, New York City.

This full-day program will provide coverage of upcoming and cutting-edge issues, as well as ongoing concerns and topics, facing tax executives and practitioners. Practice and procedure issues in handling matters with the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance and the NYC Department of Finance will be addressed as well.

Other featured topics will include post-employment taxation; advisory opinions, declaratory rulings, opinions of counsel and memoranda; current state of combined reporting; sales tax issues; the state's 2007-2008 budget bill; ethical issues, and an update in litigation.
