NYSBA Seminar Will ExploreArbitration In Securities Cases

The New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) is planning a CLE seminar titled Securities Arbitration 2007.

The program will take place on Thursday, November 29 from 9 a.m. to 4:25 p.m. at the New Yorker Hotel, 481 Eighth Avenue, New York City. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

This program will present a detailed review of the major issues facing today's counsel in securities arbitration.It is intended for both the experienced and novice practitioner. Leading members of the claimants and defense bar will provide their views and insights on issues ranging from the filing of a claim through discovery and the actual hearing of the case. Senior administrators from the NYSE and the FINRA, arbitrators, mediators, and counsel for claimants and respondents will share step-by-step advice on how to conduct hearings in the most effective way for their clients.
