NYSBA Schedules Program On Ethics And Professionalism

A program titled Ethics and Professionalism is scheduled for Tuesday, June 10 at the Hotel Pennsylvania, 410 7th Ave (at 33rd Street), New York City.Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., the program will run from 9 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.

The panelist will be: Joseph E. Neuhaus (Chair), Sullivan and Cromwell; Marjorie E. Gross, New York State Banking Department; Gerard E. Harper, Paul Weiss Rifkind Whatron & Garrison LLP, and Mitchell A. Lowenthal, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.

The discussions will cover recent cases, opinions and trends; competence, confidentiality, communication, and conflicts, and how to avoid and deal with real ethical problems.The program is divided into two parts: part one will be a presentation of hypotheticals drawn from the opinions; part two will engage the audience in a Q&A.
