The New York County Lawyers' Association this month is offering a CLE seminar titled What You Need to Know to Practice Immigration Law Successfully: Getting Your Client the Right Non-Immigrant Visa or "Green Card."
The two-part course will take place on Mondays, March 12 and 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. each day at the NYCLA Home of Law, 14 Vesey Street, New York City.
This program will guide attendees through the complexities of the Immigration and Nationality Act with all its recent amendments and clarify how to represent the client who seeks permanent residence or a non-immigrant temporary visa to stay in the United States. The focus of the program will be on practical guidance on all aspects of the non-immigrant visa and the permanent resident process - from assessing and analyzing the case to issuance of the visa or "Green Card."
The program co-chairs are Eugene J. Glicksman, Glicksman & Cardoso, and Gilbert C. Ferrer, co-chair, NYCLA Committee on Immigration and Nationality Law.
