NYCLA Seminar Will ExploreEmployment Discrimination Cases

The New York County Lawyers' Association (NYCLA) has scheduled a two-part CLE seminar titled Handling Employment Discrimination Cases.

The program will take place on succeeding Mondays, June 11 and 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the NYCLA Home of Law, 14 Vesey Street, New York City.

Participants can expect to learn: where and how to file a claim of discrimination; what types of employment discrimination are prohibited by federal, state andlocal statutes; what pendent state claims should be included in a federal court complaint; what the key discovery tools are from the plaintiff's and defendant's perspectives; what types of alternative dispute resolution are available for employmentdiscrimination cases; what types of motions in limine and other pre-trial strategies should be used in employment discrimination cases, and how to develop successful trial strategies.
