NYCLA Schedules Public ForumOn Federal Rules Changes

The New York County Lawyers' Association (NYCLA) this monthis sponsoring a public forum titled Review of Changes to Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.

The session will take place on Wednesday, November 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the NYCLA Home of Law, 14 Vesey Street, New York City.

The forum is designed to introduceattorneys to the electronic discovery amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the significant amendment of Rule 502 to the Federal Rules of Evidence, which will become effective December 1.

The forum moderator will be Thomas V. Marino, chair of the NYCLA Federal Courts Committee. Speakers will be Magistrate Judge James C. Francis IV, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and Adam Cohen, senior managing director, FTI Consulting, Inc.
