NYCLA Schedules Programs On Improving Legal Research Skills Using Lexis

The NY County Lawyers' Association has scheduled three programs to teach advanced research skills using Lexis for Wednesday, August 12 to be presented by a Lexis staff attorney. The location is the 3rd Floor Library, Home of Law, 14 Vesey St., New York City.

The first session, Lexis I, is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. It is designed to provide a working knowledge of the Lexis service.

The second session, Lexis: New York Research, is scheduled from noon to 1 p.m.The focus of this program will be how to use expert analysis from sources like New York Civil Practices: CPLR; LexisNexiAnswerGuide; New York Litigation and Transactional Premium LexisNexis Forms; news sources; public records; and adding a customized New York tab to the main menu screen and more.

The final session of the day, Lexis: Personal Injury, will commence at 1:30 p.m. and conclude at 2:30 p.m.
