NYCLA Presents Winning In Federal Court

The New York County Lawyers Association will offer a two-part seminar on Winning Cases in Federal Court, with part one on Wednesday, June 30, and part two on Wednesday, July 7.Both sessions will be held at NYCLA's Vesey Street conference center in New York City and will begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m.

This two-part course will offer participants a chance to explore the latest issues involved in practice in federal court. A panel of experienced litigators will discuss all aspects of federal practice, including commencing the action; responding to the complaint; an overview of discovery methods and motions; taking and defending depositions; trail of a civil case in federal court; dealing with expert witnesses; post-trial procedure; and enforcement of judgments.

Along with hearing from seasoned federal litigators, attendees will gain the benefit of Judge Paul A. Crotty's insights into the issues being discussed as he will provide "the view from the bench" after each topic is introduced and discussed.
