On July 15, the NYCLA's Women's Rights Committee hosted an informal luncheon for its members with guest speaker Lisa Friel, Esq. (pictured in the center), bureau chief of the Manhattan District Attorney's Sex Crimes Unit. Ms. Friel discussed the key provisions of New York's Anti-Human Trafficking Law and the challenges faced by her office in undertaking prosecutions under the law. A Q&A session followed the luncheon.
