NYCLA Course Addresses Cloud Computing

The New York County Lawyers Association will offer a seminar focusing on cloud computing titled Everything You Need To Know About Cloud Computing: Risks, Dangers, Current Legislation and Ethical Considerations.

The course is located at NYCLA, 14 Vesey Street in New York City. It begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 9:00 p.m.

A panel of experts will address all the relevant issues, as well as answer participants' questions. Topics under discussion are Cloud Computing Technology and Data; Risk and Due Diligence Issues; Negotiating the Service Contract; E-discovery and the Cloud; Case Law Relating to the Cloud; and Data Security Issues.

The program is chaired by Natalie Sulimani and Allan Pearlman of NYCLA's Cyberspace Committee. Other speakers are Joe Bambara, vice president of technology architecture; UCNY, Inc.; Raj Goel, Brainlink; and Devika Kewalramani, Moses and Singer LLP.
