NYC Bar Plans Trademark Seminar

The New York City Bar Association is offering a CLE seminar titled Trademark Basics & Beyond.

The program will take place on Thursday, November 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the House of the Association, 42 West 44th Street, New York City.

At this program a panel of experts will teach you the basics and the legal issues that are essential to advising today's clients. Topics to be addressed include: what a trademark is and how it can be protected; obtaining a U.S. trademark registration and maintain trademark rights; what you do if you are involved in trademark infringement or dilution litigation; recent case law decisions and its implications for U.S. trademark practice; practice tips for managing international clearance and prosecution for U.S. based clients, and navigating TTAB opposition and cancellation proceedings.
