NYC Bar Examines Corporate Fraud

On Thursday, December 9, the New York City Bar will host a seminar titled What Corporate Attorneys Need to Know About Fraud Prevention, Detection and Deterrence. The seminar will be at the New York City Bar at 42 West 44th Street in New York City.

The program begins at 6:00 p.m. and adjourns at 8:15 p.m.

The program looks at compliance issues from the perspective of the corporate attorney and will examine aspects of effective corporate governance, such as the development of codes of conduct and compliance programs; "best practices" for a company's board of directors and its committees, directors and officers; and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements such as the FCPA and SOX.
